"Much to admire, pity, and more to alarm us."
How long will we mourn about our decision to vote for Donald Trump? “Fill thine horn with oil.” Be found at the altar, there to meet the comforting One. The Holy Spirit teaches us all things, soothes our aching hearts, and points us to the will of God: turns our mourning to dancing, puts off our sackcloth, and girds us with gladness, to the end that we may sing praise to thee and not be silent. Psalms 30:11:12
The responsibilities of the presidency demanded not only wisdom and energy, prudence and courage, but above all, a disposition to govern in the fear of God and to yield implicit obedience to his commands. When will we desire and pray for such a leader?
Donald Trump has driven away the Spirit of God!
Samuel said to Saul, “Thou hast done foolishly,” not wickedly, but foolishly. Is this the case with Donald Trump?
Donald Trump has always wished to tell his version of the story and has to vindicate himself, but he is proud to do so.
Saul was impatient, and so is Donald Trump. It is the story of waiting seven days for Samuel. He offered an act of worship to encourage his small band of disheartened warriors. It was in hopes that God had not forsaken them.
Donald Trump- Much to admire, pity, and more to alarm us.
I am confident that Donald Trump’s heart was deeply affected by the responsibilities of his new position. Like the proverb regarding Saul, “Is Donald Trump president?” The question shows how utterly improbable the event was to many Americans, especially those who knew Trump’s previous career and saw that there would be no radical change in his character, but rather a focus on his particular business leadership qualities.
Donald Trump surrounded himself with men and women who share the same spirit as the witch of Endor. They secretly gather to seek advice in the dark of night. The aides know where to look for the right source as well. The darkness will produce "Black Art," a mysterious and sinister technique or practice.
Familiar spirits will continue to abound, leading to a downward path of absurdity and degradation.
Regarding Saul, Samuel said, “There is none like him among all the people.” God appointed the king who should be.
There will come a day when the true Church will say, “Pray for we have added unto all our sins, this evil, to ASK FOR DONALD TRUMP.” See the mercy of God- Only Fear THE LORD and serve Him in truth with all your heart: consider how great things He hath done for you: but if ye shall still do wickedly ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king.” 1 Sam 12:25
These Evangelical leaders do not realize that God is using them to bring further judgment on our nation. Four years would have been long enough for this group to see Donald Trump. No, they have not returned to their prayer closets to reflect on the present conditions. If they had, they would have come forth with a word of divine wisdom and grace, given the responsibilities afforded them in this opportunity to speak before the president. Unfortunately, these men and women have failed to distance themselves from the allure of prestige associated with having the president's ear.
